Privacy Policy

Abbion Services Limited (Hereinafter referred as “Abbion”) is committed to protect the privacy of our candidates, clients and other users of our services.

Where you as candidates provide us with your personal data, in person, by email, or through any of other channels, we will endeavor to ensure that such data remains private and is only used in accordance with this policy. By providing us with your personal data, you also consent us to collect, hold, use and disclose your personal data in accordance with this policy.

1. Collection of Personal Data

Abbion may collect your personal data from you, including (without limitation) your name, HKID no. / passport details, contact details, address, qualifications, work history, your right to work in Hong Kong, languages spoken, professional memberships and other data from your CV. If you are to be considered for a particular position, we may also collect references from your nominated referees. All the personal data we collect is held, used and disclosed for the purposes set out below.

2. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

Abbion holds, uses and discloses your personal data for the following purposes:

1. to provide our services to you;
2. to enable you to submit your CV generally, to apply for specific jobs;
3. to match your details with job vacancies, to assist us in finding a position that is most suitable for you and, to send your personal data to clients in order to apply for jobs;
4. we may also release personal data to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if they require us to do so; and
5. we may also seek your consent to collect, hold, use and disclose your personal data for any other purpose not listed above.

3. Retention of Personal data

Applicants who are not contacted within 6 months should consider their applications unsuccessful. Personal data provided by unsuccessful applicants will be retained for future recruitment purposes for a period of two years. We may re-consider their applications for potentials job opportunities during that period.

4. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Abbion may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. We suggest that you contact our consultants regularly to keep up to date with any changes.
